Bell Vita is a 38 foot ketch rigged yacht designed by Van de Stadt in the Netherlands and built by Constructions Navales des Forges in France. She has a steel hull and was built to be a safe, competent blue water yacht capable of sailing anywhere the Captain would like to go. Under a previous Captain, she has circumnavigated and also crossed the Atlantic many times.

Bella Rose was previously named "Pipe Dream" but that seemed inappropriate since I am now living my dream. I renamed her Bella Vita because it is a "Good Life" plus I just liked the sound of it.

The interior layout of Bella Vita consists of, from the bow:
  • The head,
  • A pullman berth to port,
  • Hanging lockers to starboard,
  • The dinette to port,
  • A sette to starboard,
  • Galley to port,
  • A nav station to starboard,
  • The walkthru to the aft cabin to starboard,
  • Aft cabin which is currently used as a workshop.

She is well outfitted for offshore sailing. Her inventory includes:
