Guests are welcome aboard Bella Vita. I bought a boat that I am comfortable singlehanding but I enjoy the company of other sailors and friends. I don't have space for many but can handle up to three guests for short periods of time. Accomadations are tight but reasonably comfortable. If you would like to spend some time sailing on Bella Vita, contact me.

Even though guests are welcome aboard, there are some rules that I expect my guests to abide by. These are:

  1. No smoking while aboard. This is as much for safety as for the comfort of the non-smokers. A fire on board is extremely dangerous and with the confined spaces and a combination of fuels carried on board, smoking is simply too dangerous. Also, I don't like tobacco smoke.
  2. No alcohol consumption while offshore. It is important that everybody aboard be alert and watchful to assure the ships safety. At anchor or while cruising inshore, feel free to imbibe within reason.
  3. No illegal drugs on board. I have a zero tolerance policy regarding illegal drugs. Most governments are very intolerant when it comes to drug usage and will generally hold the skipper responsible for the actions of the crew. Anyone having illegal drugs onboard Bella Vita will be turned over to the local authorities. Get your highs from the sailing and the beauty of the sea or stay home.
  4. As skipper, my word in final. I want you to enjoy the trip as much as I do but if issues arise, there has to one person in charge and that is the skipper.
